The number of international study programmes taught in English at the University of Stavanger is constantly growing. The UiS offers full-time master's programmes as well as student exchange programmes, where courses are offered in various subject areas at both bachelor's and master's level. While degree programmes are open for applicants from all over the world, the exchange programmes are limited to students whose home institution has an exchange agreement with the UiS.The UiS also offers a 1-year preparatory language programme that allows students to qualify for study programmes taught in Norwegian.The University of Stavanger has about 10 100 students and 1400 employees.
