Gebze Technical University (GTU), first established in 1992 as Gebze Institute of Technology (GIT), is a research-oriented public university located in the Marmara Region of Türkiye, with the primary goal of accommodating the needs of the 18 organized industrial zones and over 50 R&D facilities in its vicinity.
